Service delivery method (brief):
Interested parents have to submit the application along with the resource teacher / deputy director in the prescribed form. The concerned resource teacher prepares the list of applications received and selects the visually impaired students through the meeting of the admission committee. Admission is then completed by informing the applicant. Admitted children are educated in Braille with the general students at the designated educational institution and the resource teacher supervises the teaching. All expenses related to accommodation, food and medical care for the admitted visually impaired students are borne by the Department of Social Services.
Functions:
* Students with disabilities apply in the form prescribed by the parents;
* Application selection and final approval by the Admission Committee;
* Final approval by the admission committee and admission to the school.
